De Praktijk Index is a consultancy company in the Dutch health care market. De Praktijk Index started in 2005. Our mission is to visualize the enormous amounts of data from existing registries and data bases within health care organisations. We make information products which support quality and safety management, marketing and strategic and financial planning. These products are characterized by: attractive visualization, easy to use and preferably webbased interfaces, up to date information, on-the-fly benchmarking.

Since 2007 we have a partnership with Dr Foster, to make Real Time Monitoring (RTM) available for the Dutch hospitals. Currently, around 20 Dutch hospitals use the RTM tool. De Praktijk Index is involved in supporting the Dutch and Belgian participants of the Global Comparators project.
